Peer_ReviewPosted by Terese Wignot, 9/3/02 at 12:44:08 PM. Peer Review: (10%)Each experiment will be graded on a 100-point scale with point distribution as stated. At the completion of each experiment, the student will have one week before the notebook is handed in for grading. Within that week, the notebook will be given to the assigned witness. The witness will read the experimental write up and make written suggestions (on separate paper) to the author. The peer reviewer will comment on proper format, as well as grammar and spelling, if all sections are understandable and scientifically correct (was the proper procedure followed, are the calculations correct, is the conclusion consistent with the results, etc.). The peer reviewer will then sign each page of the notebook as the witness. The author may or may not incorporate the reviewer's suggestions. The peer review comments will be handed in with the notebook. Each experiment will be graded as it is completed so suggestions from the instructor can be implemented into the writing of the next experimental write up. Each experimental write up will have a different peer reviewer
