Dr. Carey has more than 35 years of Automated Test industry experience. He has continually demonstrated a commitment to engineering excellence through his dedication, self motivation, and desire to design, develop, and test ATE technology and systems and to teach and mentor the young engineers of tomorrow about the ATE industry. This has been demonstrated through both his contribution to the engineering environment in general and to the Automatic Test community specifically. His continued dedication to the growth and betterment of engineering test is demonstrated in his many positions specifically related to the test community. In his recent positions, as Chief of Engineering Design, Development and Manufacturing Branch, Tobyhanna Army Depot, and as the Executive Engineer for Program Advancement/Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering at Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, PA., Dr. Carey has continually demonstrated his contributions to ATE Technology, his enthusiasm and eagerness to provide mentoring to both individuals and companies, and his uncompromised ethics and professionalism. In his position with Wilkes University Dr. Carey has fostered graduate and undergraduate courses specifically addressing Automatic Test and related disciplines. He has provided and continues to provide leadership in both academia and in the engineering community. This has been the case since his time as a dedicated engineer to his recent position as the Chief of Automated Test Equipment Development and Support Branch at Tobyhanna Army Depot.
