- Becky's Parents and Brothers - Becky's Dad was John E. Giles, Sr.(born January 22, 1895); her Mother was Grace Neifert (born September 26, 1894). They had married on June 26, 1917.
- Becky's Education - All of Becky's schooling was obtained in Illinois schools.
- Becky and Bill's Family - Once Becky had completed her college work, she was faced with the decision of whether she should attempt to start practice teaching for which she had been trained or undertake other types of work.
