Why study history?

Welcome to the History Program at Wilkes!

The history program at Wilkes University is part of the broader Department of the Humanities. Students of history work to synthesize the life experience by examining past economic, social, political, scientific, and religious conditions. History majors may opt for the special five-year program within the history program which enables them to earn a BA in history and an MBA (Master of Business Administration) in five years.

The History program's main office is located in Kirby Hall, Room 202. Telephone: 408-4530, or on-campus extension 4530.
