May 7, 2003 - Annual Education Awards Banquet at Magee's Main St. Inn (Bloomsburg, PA). The event will include dinner, awards ceremony, and the featured speaker is Dr. Joe Vinson, Ph D from the University of Scranton who will discuss "Chemistry and Biochemistry of Chocolate: A Guilt Free Food". Special Events

The Susquehanna Valley Section of the American Chemical Society announces a Fall Bus Trip to the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. The trip will take place on Saturday, October 26th and is open to students, faculty and staff including family members. The American Museum of Natural History is probably the finest natural history museum in the world with many outstanding exhibits and shows. Among these is an unbelievable dinosaur collection, a state of the art planetarium, and one of the very best collections of minerals , gemstones and inorganic salts-arranged by chemical composition. This will be a fantastic day for all ---adults and kids alike. Get Details.
