Why do some cities thrive and others fail? What makes for a
"liveable" city? We will consider these questions and many more as
we explore together the streets and structures of downtown Wilkes-Barre
over the next few months.
This will probably be the only non-music course you will ever take that is centered around a song: Petula Clark's 1964 hit Downtown. However, no musical ability is required for the course (nor will I demonstrate any).
