The TEC-140
There's nothing quite like getting a new toy!

Since I will mount the scope in my observatory and do not plan, if any, travel with it at this time, I decided not to buy the excellent Scopegaurd case. Still, the scope arrived very safely packed in foam.

Removing the dust cap for the first time was breathtaking. The objective is truly stunning and the glass seems almost non-existant it is so clear and free from reflections. Amazing.

The 4" focuser by Starlight Instruments is a thing of beauty. The large ring close to the scope allows you to rotate the entire assembly without affecting focus. The micro-focusing knob (on the opposite side) is always an asset in CCD imaging.
