Background
I am an Associative Professor in Psychology at Wilkes University.
My research as well as scholarly interests are based on how the brain controls behavior and cognition. In the world of Academia, I am a Behavioral Neuroscientist.
My academic career began at Bloomsburg University, where I majored in Psychology. After graduating from Bloomsburg, I entered graduate school at Wake Forest University. While at Wake, I earned my M.A. in Psychology, and my Ph.D. in Neuroscience. I will always have a place in my heart for Wake Forest.
Subsequent to my graduate work at Wake Forest, I took a post-doctoral research position in the Department of Neurobiology at SUNY-Stony Brook. (see Research Interests). In 1999, after several years of being a post-doc, I was hired as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Wilkes University.
