Congrats to Jess Niemiec, Wilkes University's first ever appointment to the American Forensics Association's All American Team. This year there were only 14 members given this award spanning schools from all over the coutry. Congrats again, Jess.

As the year comes to a close, there are a few interesting things that will carry it out with a bang. The Pennsylvania State Championship tournament just passed, and we are very proud of the 4th place in the state position that we currently hold. There were also able to come away with 5 individual awards.

At Distrcts the team walked away with two district Champion titles, in After Dinner and Informative Speaking. Congrats to Roger and Jess! Also, to those contributing to the team sweepstakes award that boasts 5th in District 8 (PA, NJ, MD, and VA) Congrats to Paul, Lisa, and Keith!

Team President Jess Niemiec just returned from AFA Nationals where she faired very well. We are very proud of her multiple qualification in this difficult and prestigious tournemnt. For thoughts on the tournemnt, check out AFA scene

The year is officially over, with the novice return from Brookdale's Great Eastern Seaboard Tournament. The team was able to acquire 6th place team sweeps, as well as bring home five individual trophies. Congratulations are in order to Lisa Drieir, Megan Brown, and Keith Hubbard, all who contributed a great deal of point to this team sweepstake award. Congrats, first years!
