1. Becky's Family
   • 1922 (Sep 29) - Becky was born at home in Herrin, Ill. Her family moved around to various locations, such as Hazelton, Pa and Orient, Ill

2. Education
   • 1928 - 1936 - Becky's elementary schools were in Orient (grades 1- 4) and Marion, Ill.

   • 1936 - 1940 - Becky's high school was Marion Township High School, Ill.

   • 1940 -1944 - Becky attended Univ of Illinois and was awarded a BS degree in home economics.

3. Careers as Homemaker
   • 1944 - Becky worked at the Swift & Co. in Chicago for 3 mos. testing food products.

   • 1945 (Feb 3) - Bill and Becky were married at Marion, Ill.

   • 1945 (Feb) - 1945 (Sep) - Becky and Bill lived in an apartment at 910 Stoughton, Urbana, Il. Becky worked for a brief period in the office of a construction Co.

   • 1945 (Sep) - 1946 (Feb) - Bill's Sabbatical was spent at lab in Oak Ridge, Tenn

   • 1946 (Feb) - 1949 (Sep) - After Oak Ridge, Becky and Bill moved into an apartment at 61 E. Green St, Champaign, and then into a pre-fab house at 507 S. Johnson St, Urbana, Ill.

   • 1948 (Oct 31) - Becky's first child, John was born in Mercy Hospital, Champaign, Ill.

   • 1949 (Sep 19) - Bill began work at NBS as Head of the High Energy Radiation Laboratory at age of 28 yrs. Therefore, Becky, Bill, John moved to Porter St, Washington, DC. 6 Mos later they moved to their home at 2922 Stanton Ave, Silver Spring, MD

   • 1950 (May 27) - Kathy was born at George Washington Hospital, Washington, DC as were the next (and last) 3 children.

   • 1951 (Nov 26)- Don was born.

   • 1953 (Aug 14)- The twins (Rob and Rus) were born.

   • 1960 - 1965 - Becky worked part-time at an animal research lab near home.

   • 1966 (Dec 27) Bill began work as Executive Director and CEO of AIP in New York City. The family remained in Silver Spring for the first 6 mos of Bill's new job, while Bill commuted on week-ends from an apartment in NYC At the end of the school year, the family moved to their home at 3 Church Lane Scarsdale, NY.

   • 1980 - The family moved from Scarsdale to 94 Boathouse Lane, Bayshore, Long Island, NY, to bring Bill closer to AIP's production facility in Woodbury

   • 1987 (Mar 31) - Bill retired from AIP after 20 years on the job.
