Attention Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder is a biological disability [base "]characterized by developmentally inappropriate impulsivity, attention, and in some cases, hyperactivity[per thou] defined by the national organization known as C.H.A.D.D, Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder. This disorder may have serious outcomes if left undiagnosed, such as depression, school failure or drug and alcohol abuse. The diagnosis of this disorder is a involved process because many of its symptoms can also be symptoms for other disorders. With a proper diagnosis of this disorder the treatment is multi-layered. Four important tasks when used together can help to take care of AD/HD, they are parental training in behavior management skills, a modified educational program, individual and family counseling and medication.

&nsbp;  "Tiredness is one of the most common complaints that confront the clinician[per thou] says Harvey Molofsky, writer in the Canadian Journal of Psychiatry. He goes on to say how certain clinicians go about treating sleep disorders. He also describes a study done on sleep disorders. A sleep disorder is any sort of illness affecting someone[base ']s body in a way that interferes with that person[base ']s sleep habits. Sleep disorders can be brought on by the most simple things. A regular intake of too much caffine, or associating the bedroom with being awake can cause problems in sleeping habits. However, there are some easy ways to get rid of these problems. Some ways are easy and have no side effects and others are the complete opposite.

There has been an increase in the amount of cardiac surgeries taking place. Technological advancements have been made to get rid of the customary open-heart surgery. One such advancement is known as the Jarvik Heart 2000. According to Stephen Westaby who performed the study, they have developed a novel technique allowing closed-chest beating-heart coronary artery bypass grafting, and have used it successfully in two patients (Lancet 2000). This is an amazing invention that may save your life one day.

"It seems as though we are coming closer to communism by meddling in Americans business". This was exclaimed in 1958 by Ellen Schrechis, who is the foremost historian of the McCarthy era, and has lived through the trials and has recently wrote a book about the era, No Ivory Tower. This era she is talking about was plagued by many quasi-officials trying to find out was the American people were really doing, and if in any ways deviant in the form of communism those people would be prosecuted. Schrechis states that even if these people were "deviants" they were pushing the country forward. This is saying that it is inevitable that people will have different thoughts, and the mixture of the two will make a stronger world.

An amplifier to your car stereo will improve the sound dramatically, amplifiers designed to help your system sound better than ever. The clean, dynamic power an external car amplifier will make your music stronger, not just louder. No matter what you choose to play through it, from rhythm and blues to country and western, elctronica to easy listening, you will get more bass. "Loud or soft, your music will come alive". That's pretty much what a car amplifier can do.

The Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act, or DSHEA, was brought about to lessen restrictions by the FDA on supplements. While doing so, it also lessens the time it takes for supplements to get to the shelf in stores. Many are concerned that since there are not as many restrictions on supplements, there is a greater chance that these supplements can be harmful. There are also concerns of consumers being mislead by claims on labels, as there is no requirement for supplements to prove their claims true.

Measuring muscle tension and contraction can be accomplished by measuring posture motion and movement velocity. "In actual sport movements such as weightlifting, however, each muscular group generates tension in different arrangements of time and space" explained researchers Funato and Matsuo, which would need a new device that would be able to measure mechanical power and the tension let out by more then one joint. The device created to measure sporting movements internally because of the many conditions that occur in performance and movement.

Peter Wright is an author of the book "The Thought of Doing Drama Scares Me to Death". Wright states that conceptions include both a physical manifestation and a feeling state, both of which reflect the performance on their own. This would refer to not knowing what to do in a performance or a play, situation, or a particluar event. In this case it would be how one thinks or uses strategies in their own thoughts or dreams. It can be a feeling of just needing to learn the basic skills so that they may not have a fear of what they do,think,or dream about.

Anabolic Steroids are used by many athletes to try and get a better edge on winning in a competition. According to Verna Rose, "ACSM reports that it is becoming increasingly obvious that anabolic steroid use is not just confined to collegiate, professional and Olympic athletes, but is also prevalent among junior high and high school students"(American Family Physician 326).  What the athletes don't understand are the different side effects this horrible drug can cause to oneself.  Rose also states that anabolic steroids may help increase ones performance and physical appearance, but the students should understand what other side effects there are and how it can hurt them.

When you are lying in bed at night, you start to get visions in your head. These are called dreams. They may be good or bad. They are affected by many different things, and also have different meanings. The article by Mark Dixon and Linda Hayes "provides suggestions as to the nature of dream research and to the understanding of dream meaning from a behavioral perspective." This article also talks about behavior and how it affects dreams, and the interpretation of dreams from certain behaviors.

Seasonal Affective Disorder is a disorder caused by the lack of ultra violet light to the body, causing a decrease in serotine, which leads to depression. Many doctors have been skeptic toward the treatment for SAD. Because of this skepticism, Hatcher states, that insurance companies have been declining coverage to patients who have been prescribed light box treatment. Elizabeth Hatcher points out, [base "]The treatment for SAD, light boxes, can also be used for non-seasonal depressions as well.[per thou] Yet factual evidence holds true that phototherapy is a useful tool in fighting depression. (this is Robert Eroh's)

Education is one of the most important things in a persons life, and you would expect the highest quality available, but there is a law that if passed would group all the categories in the arts as one, this includes music, theater, dance, and art. Ben Holste, music educator, says [base "]if this law passes, who knows what will happen to other subjects of study.[per thou] Also, he states that every education major is in jeopardy of loosing their jobs to these types of laws and that everyone should be careful because if they pass this, what is next?
