My Interpretation of the Image of Blood
Blood can be a prophecy of death in Julius Caesar 
v II.i.162-171 Brutus tells Cassius that Caesar is going to bleed for trying to assume the position of a monarch.
v II.ii.19-21 Calpurnia dreams of Caesar's statue spouting blood (his death). The blood on the Capitol could be argued to be a reference to the deaths of some of the senators also, who die later in the play.
v III.i.20 Cassius refers to shedding his own blood, which he does in Act 5.
v III.i.257-268 Antony tells Caesar's corpse a prophecy. He tells him "blood and destruction shall be so in use", referring to the revenge Antony would get on the conspirators. One could easily replace 'death' in that line and it would mean the same thing.
v V.i.13-15 Antony's army sees the "bloody sign of battle" which is the flag of the conspirator's army. Death occurs in battle, and in seeing the flag, they knew death was approaching.
